We are a men's soccer league established in 2007 by a community church in order to provide men in our area with a quality league to compete and build community. As an extension of Elgin Vineyard, the league serves the community by offering a natural bridge of relationship to God and other people. We live in a culture of isolation where people naturally feel separated from God and one another, so the soccer league promotes not only sport and recreation, but also relationship and community. We aim to be a different kind of league.
We are located in Elgin, Illinois and serve the surrounding communities including Streamwood, Bartlett, South Elgin, St. Charles, Algonquin, East and West Dundee.
Our league was established in 2007 by a small community church called New Hope in Streamwood who wanted to find unique ways to serve people and provide them with meaningful opportunities. The league was established with 4 teams and nearly 60 players and has steadily grown into double the size of teams and players. The focus of the league has not just been on soccer, but also on relationships and diversity. We strive to have a league with men of many diverse backgrounds joining together to compete and build relationships.
